This Pre-Licensing training is required to obtain a dealer's license in the state of Florida. This course is approved for VI (independent or used car), VW wholesale, VF franchise, SD Salvage, SF service facility and VA auction licenses. While the training is required for prospective dealers applying for a state motor vehicle dealer's license, it is also useful for new employees at existing dealerships who are looking for training to bring them up to speed.To apply for a state motor vehicle dealer license, the attendee must be an owner, partner, officer, director or a full-time, management-level employee of the licensee. The certificate issued at the end of the class is valid for six months.
